Hey, Mike. Did you ever make changes to the air cleaner? I stripped the air cleaner, but I haven't repainted it yet. Thanks Al! I got my reason for building this Dart and I thank you for allowing me to participate! |

no problem. its my privilege to offer up a build-off. there not the best organized things on the net by far, but at least it gets the group participating and chatting back and forth.

Well, my usual luck is running with me again. The "340" decal I had disintegrated when it touched the water. No problem I said to myself. I'll just grab my sheet of decal paper and pull an image off the internet. I couldn't find my decal paper! Arrggghhh!!! Until I can get some more decal paper, I'll just glue the air cleaner onto the carb and call it done for now.  |

Put the hood down and put it on the shelf. Nobody will know unless you tell them. Nice build, Mike. I like it a lot. |

Thank you Steve! I found out late last night that a fellow I know has offered me a "340" decal out of his stash and he will bring it to me at the Classic Plastic Model Club Exhibition on Sunday October 7th where I'll be working. I was willing to leave the Dart aside until I was able to get a new sheet of decal paper and print up one of my own from an image from the internet.
This years show will be different without our Club president who passed away back in June while on a trip to a car and model show in Canada. We will get through it without him, but the Club is missing him very much. What a great modeler Del Paone was.
