I built this one from a Monogram kit: I kitbashed with a '69 Dart, and a couple other kits I don't remember. Heck, this was done several years ago! I built it as a replica of a friend's SuperBee, and presented this to him for his birthday. Your comments and questions are welcome! Thanks for looking!

very nice. pretty much spot on. did you use the scoops from the 70 bee kit? is it a resin hood or did you fill that massive hole in? kudos if you did.

I must admit, I did not fill that big hole in the hood! This was a fun build for me. It's not exactly box stock. The hood and scoops came from A/FX N Scale Resin. The 383 engine is from the '68 Dart kit. I have parts from four other kits in this one, too. I scratchbuilt the vinyl top with masking tape. There are some other things that were found in the parts bin, such as the Centerline wheels and the BFG's. I lettered those tires, but that was back in the day when I had a steadier hand! HAHA Thanks for the great comments! My friend put this one on his top shelf, among a bunch of diecast construction machines he has collected.

That's a really great looking Super Bee! Red looks better on one than I thought it would.

Thank you! I was quite pleased with how well the red matches the real one.

Great looking build. They should have included that hood alone with the six pack hood. I had to fill in the hood for mine.

A great looking build.. You definitely nailed it for sure... The greatest gift you could give us gear heads is a fine model of our 1:1 machines... Nice job!!!
