Does anyone know if Modelhaus is going to lease or sell their molds to another resin caster?
So many awesome kits, it would be a shame to just let them disappear.

From what I've read, they tried to sell their business, but couldn't find the right sort of buyer to do things the way Modelhaus did them. Modelhaus was one of the top tier resin casters out there. I don't blame them for not just tossing their molds out there to be ruined by someone only looking for dollar signs. I believe the Modlehaus folks really cared about the hobby of building scale models. Items pop up on auction sites, but the price may not be very 'pocket friendly'! LOL

I also heard that the owners of it are looking for a million+ for everything. it will take a lot of resin to make that up.

This is so sad. And who misses out we do.

I know there are other casters out there, but I don't think a lot of them made/make as many different parts.

Most other casters are dealing in aftermarket parts and unique bodies and conversions. Modelhaus specialized in direct replica replacement parts for old annual kits. For a builder of vintage kits like me, this is a major loss.
