I just read this article in my printed version of the magazine. It's an amazing piece of machinery. I suppose if I was a multimillionaire I'd think differently about it, but since I'm not I can honestly say I wouldn't really want to own a car like this. I'd be scared to death that a fly was going to crap on it. No way would anyone get close enough to enjoy it. I'd prefer one I could climb in and drive to a nearby car show, or even take down the 1320 a few weekends each summer. Maybe I'm too practical. A car you can't drive, a gun worth so much you can't shoot, etc, etc. None of that ever had much appeal to me. But this is a beautiful automobile. www.hotrod.com/articles/1971-plymouth-cuda-factory-fresh/

I am right there with you Steve. know too many people with cars like this. never at cruises, never at outdoor shows. spend tons of cash on trailer, truck and other things to keep it at this level (well, close to this level). what they don't say in the article is that "Mike Mancini and his talented crew from American Muscle Car Restorations in North Kingstown, Rhode Island (www.amcri1.com)" is showing this car to get some collector to drop a few million on this thing and have it stuffed in a temperature controlled garage somewhere, never to be seen again. get ready for this jaw dropper, I would rather own and drive a 6 banger dart than own this car. or, if I owned this car, it would look like this in a year or so.... I always thought cars were meant to be driven. They have wheels, a motor, seats, and a steering wheel. Get 'em out and drive 'em!
