I just bought a Burago 1/18 scale '92 Dodge Viper kit on eBay. I got a great deal on it so pulled the trigger and made a deal.
The box art shows a red car, but so do a heck of a bunch of other kits. I don't want to overuse red so after I bought the kit I checked on 'paintref.com' to see what my other choices of colors were. Red. Period. So far I haven't been able to disprove that. I've turned up a couple of images of '92 Vipers that were other colors but they were also cars that had been 'restored'.
Can anybody supply info to prove whether red was, or wasn't, the only color available on a '92?

92 was red only. 93 upgraded to Emerald Green, yellow, red and black. That held until 96 when the GTS model was introduced and more colors were made available.

OK. Thanks, Wayne. That confirms what I found in my searching. I just wanted to be 100% certain that the '92 was only offered in red. That just struck me as a little odd. It reminds me of the Henry Ford quote about "any color so long as it's black".
