so busy, I let this linger, I will get a pole up on this for the new year so we can have our 12 themes for each month. I would like you all to add to this list anything I my have missed. the bold, italics and underlined ones are the 12 we had last year. no problem with me if there are repeats.

Yeah, I know I didn't participate. Only time will tell if I can manage something this year. Regardless, here are a few themes I would like to see. Whether or not I participate, I'd sure enjoy seeing what you guys come up with. We saw a whole boat load of great builds this year, for sure.
1) Sleepers
2) Non Hemi powered - (I'm assuming this would be non-Hemi MOPARs)
3) Super stock and factory race cars - (Are you kidding? You didn't think I would add that? LOL!)
4) Your favorite Mopar build
And then I have a question about one theme. You have "Replica build" listed. Replica of what? Are you meaning a tribute car? If so, I'm then guessing you mean a tribute OTHER than a car you have owned. Do I have that right?

How about models you built more than X # of years ago, i.e. models you built 15 years or more ago.

I didn't post 1 build. that's ok, it will be OK when I get my $25 from everyone for entering a build. exactly Steve.... replica of whatever. your parents car, the hot rodder down the street, a drag car, the hottie down the streets boyfriends car. any "real" car you want to build. for example, I am starting to look thru some of my magazines and thinking of doing cover cars. I guess as long as there is a pictures of it, you can replicate it. oh yea... kidding about the $25 bucks too. |

OK. So add "Replica build" to my list of favored themes. It's really neat to see tributes to real cars, whether some well-known rod from the past or just a sweet ride from somebody's past. It's even sweeter if there are photos of the 1:1 car.

Lots of great choices. I think that it would be cool to have all new 12 categories for next year as opposed to repeating any from this year.
I really like the possible option of having a patriotic theme for July. As well the santa theme for December could be simplified to xmas colors, silver and gold and red and green.
Anyways, on to the voting.

I don't want to make anybody mad, but how about only including themes from last year that had a lot of interest, as in several entries? The themes that only had 2 or 3 entries would be excluded.
Adding the popular themes from this year to whatever agreed on new themes might make an interesting year next year.
EDIT: One other thought crossed my mind with regards to having some of the same themes next year as this year. How about adding a clause that says you can't enter the same car? No sense in seeing the same cars two years in a row. Right?

I would be okay with 12 new themes for 2020, and maybe bring back the top 4 from 2019 along with 8 new ones for 2021.
Just another idea. Keep in mind, I didn't get much sleep last night! LoL
