With the large number of brick and mortar stores shutting down, you might be able to find displays and shelf units during a liquidation sale. A Rite Aid near me went out of business last year....sold everything in the store....then put the building up for sale! If I only had the money...........

That's a good idea. The bad news is that this area has suffered terribly with unemployment. Then Walmart put a store in each of the biggest towns in every county around. That happened several years ago now. So all the stores in the "downtown" areas or around the "square" of each town closed. Different people have tried to reopen stores, but they never last. It's been years since a store has tried to open in this town.
On a brighter note, a guy sent me an email after reading my post and suggested I look on Ikea's website. I haven't done a complete, thorough search yet but I've already spied 2 cabinets that will work and both are $100 or less. I think I'm going to be able to find what I need there and get it shipped to the front door.
