Great color! The clear woke that blue up! I had a '66 Coronet in just about that same shade of blue.

Really cool engine, love those headers and paintwork looks perfect. Is this old Polar Lights or new AMT Coronet?

Another update on the Coronet. As you can see. I repainted the interior seats, dash, and rear package tray area a light blue metallic to more correctly match the actual color that was used back then. Added sheet strips on the seat back edge on both front seats. And used bare metal foil on them and some trim. Along with liquid chrome to finish it off. Painted the seat and door trim flat dark blue as per original. Got a lot of the chrome on the body done. I still have to do the rocker moldings and wheel lip moldings. I also have to add the decals on the body and paint the window visors and add the inside and outside mirrors. It’s getting there. Lol.

This is an awesome model. Really nice color. It looks like original Dodge Medium Turquoise 1965.

I think it’s more like a medium blue metallic. Also a 65 color. Thanks for your input! 👍🏼

Got the car finished today. I had to adjust the camera to show the true color. I incorrectly stated it was medium metallic blue. This is the correct hue of the blue. So I would say it’s light blue metallic with a slightly lighter blue interior. The only problems with at final assembly was the front bumper had to be modified so it can correctly get far enough to hold the frame. The rear bumper had a noticeable alignment problem. The drivers side was to far out and the other side was too high. I had to demel tool the mounting tab to get it to go in. The other side mounting tab hole was elongated down to align it horizontally. I didn’t put on the front fender scripts because they were kinda close to the color I picked and wouldn’t have been light enough to be seen. I noticed this after I placed the front Dodge script on the front of the hood. Also the wheel base is a little shifted towards the rear. I guess that’s a design flaw of the kit. The only thing I found was the center of the chassis droops down a little. I couldn’t figure out why everything else aligned correctly. After the rear glass was installed I noticed the was a gap between the bottom edge. But after I added the interior and chassis this problem solved itself. So here it is in its super stock glory. The last time I built one was the old Johan 64 super stock Polara back in 1973. I’ve forgotten how nice these cars were and should build more. Again all comments are welcome and thanks for viewing it.
