Now have both cars with decals on and chrome trim around the windows.

Burnt umber was the oil paint I used... be aware though oil paint takes an extremely long time to dry...

I’ve been able to assemble both Cuda’s now and added a couple more decals on the cab. Still need to attach the wheels on #48 and wait for the other set of Minite wheels to arrive for #42.

Thanks guys I’ll be able too finish Swede’s #42 in a couple weeks when my wheels arrive from Fireball.

Ok while I’m waiting on my wheels for Swede’s car I’ve started work on the diorama base. I’m starting with a 16” x 36” board that I put a thin coating of sparkle on to get a concrete slad texture. Spray painted with dark gray and then a light coating of light gray. I also scribed some expansion joint lines in. Working on painting the race crew guys. Here’s where I’m at for now.
