looking good. doing a lot of detail i wouldn't bother with. that's the difference between a good build and a great build. thanks for the info on the paint. never used the stuff but i may be sooner or later.

Thanks Tubbs for starting to build trucks I would suggest Revell’s snap/glue Petebuilt or KW kits. They are good kits with nice details but also easy to go together. May also be a good restarter build for you. I still see them in Hobby Lobby.

Tubbs they are more glue than snap from what I have seen others post. I really appreciate everyone’s comments here. I’ve added some checkered plate on the frame. Was able to see it in one of the pictures I have. I had a good weather day for painting and had the cab ready. I’ve also started work on the trailer and mocked up with the 15” wheels. I’m going to fill in the existing wheel openings and add some filler in front of the wheels.

Thanks guys! The dark blue really makes the chrome stand out and there’s a little more chrome to add. I’ve been working on the trailer that has a lot of re-engineering to change out the wheels to 15” Next will be to rework the side panels then start on the inside. The kit is set up to carry just 1 car and I’m going with a 2 car hauler. Both of the cars will be loaded in the upper section of the trailer with work benches set up under them. I’m also working on getting the decals for the trailer made. I ordered the Plymouth red, yellow and green paint yesterday that will go on the sides of the trailer. I’ll have some pictures later today.

My PE material for the stack shelf came in today to allow me to finish it. Also sprayed on a second coat of blue and have finished the trailer suspension change over for the 15” wheels.
