Thanks guys for sharing your comments I appreciate them! Seeing that I have a lot of free time I don’t mind the hand drilling. Between yesterday and today I’ve been able to get another 500 holes drilled in the top section. Just another 500 holes to drill to finish the top section.

I’ve got all the holes drilled on the top level now I just have to do the bottom section. I’m at 1625 holes drilled. I started building the rear hydraulic’s and supports for the upper rear section. I’m going to drill some holes in the stationary supports so that I can pin it in the upper position with a car on it.

I gave my fingers a rest on the drilling and worked on adding some structural support to the back upper section and finished the stationary struts with pins to lock the upper and lower positions. I also did another test fitting to make sure the cars still fit. I’m at 1800 holes drilled to date.

i would have gotten thru about 8 of them, said screw this and filled them back in. but the results of this is really great. only if you could thin the plastic down a little so it didn't look so thick, that would be awesome. you slap some paint on that and the results are going to be great. you will start drilling holes in everything!!

quick question, i know you have some rare kits in those pictures, but could you post up a few of that black 67 GTX please? is that built out of the box? man i love them cars. ok here we go, back, i'd say late 80's, had a friend of a friend who had a black 67 GTX hemi, cragars, white interior, an origional racing magnesium cross ram, not for that car though, all the original parts plus 2 spare hemis, both needed work but all there, $12 grand for it all..... the wife said no. damn her!! i wouldn't trade my 35+ years with her for nothing, but damn, if i was single, the stable of cars and parts i would have would be ridiculous. sorry for stealing your holey post, kinda got caught in the moment.

Thanks guys I appreciate your support with the drilling of my holes. So far I’ve only 1 bluster from the drilling on my middle finger. Al I feel your pain that was a sweet deal to miss out on but I believe you made the right decision. I build the GTX back in 2010 here’s my WIP pictures.
