Okay I went to see my orthopedic doctor today and this is what I found out.
They reviewed the MRI and I have done and it still shows I have me bone abrasion and this doctor told me that could take anywhere from 4 to 5 months to heal!!
I decided to get a steroid shot in my right knee and that should help with the pain and allow me to do more exercising and build the muscles back in my legs so that hopefully I can start walking without the use of a damn walker!!
And I don’t remember all the other things he said I had some minor things going on with my knees that are pretty much normal wear but nothing that requires surgery!
So hopefully this shot kicks in sooner then later and I can get back to a normal life…

good news, well, at least you know what the hells going on. like Joe said, don't overdo it, listen to what they tell you and you will be building show rods, vans and 6 bangers before you know it!!

I've had two cortisone shots in my left knee and one in my right knee to help with the pain over the last year, so I know what you are going through. My knees are so bad that I am now bow-legged. Retirement has not been good for my knees since I sit most of the time at my workbench and I can only stay standing and working around the house for an half hour until they start hurting big time and I get very tired and start moving around slowly.

I feel your paid Mike, my right knee is starting to feel better and I’m getting a little more movement out of it. But I still not able to walk without the use of the walker. I was able to get to my workbench to start cleaning it off for the first time since before the accident. It feels good that’s for sure!   |

So every day I’m getting better and am able to get around without the use of a walker and using my cane.
I’m still a little unsteady on my feet but not as much as I was and I’m having very little pain in my right knee!!
I was also about to go to a model car meeting on Saturday! It was great being out and feeling halfway and normal for a change!!!

Your funny Al, but you also gave me an idea!! I took a video from that end of the table and I was able to take some screenshots from it of that rig, plus my 4X4 and Chrysler 300.. 😂😂😂   |
