looking great Joe. truth be told, i am not much for the military builds, although i know great model building when i see it. you are very good. take passion in every detail. and considering how small they are. i am really enjoying watching the buildings take shape. is this right out of your head? are you going off any reference stuff? i take it you are just printing the pictures for the inside, correct? about how thick is that clay you are putting on? thanks for sharing.

Most is out of my head, I do have a book telling how to build the buildings but I have changed them to what I want... theirs are small railroad layout and look very French. The clay is very thin once I press it on. Had to take a break to replace two rotten porch roof posts on the house before winter snow load takes them down ... got that done yesterday and decided to put new decking on the old deck where needed. Been putting it off way to long as drilling a well and adding a holding tank last year took priority and all the money. Then added another drain field line this spring... gonna be a new place when done, ha, ha!!!

What time is the diorama set in ? Prior to the Allied forces arrival ? Most photos I've seen of France from that time it's, shall we say, worse for wear... But those would be American/British/French photos.

Not in France... it is Lithuania mid war... the poster on the wall is in Lithuanian talking about the help the German's are bringing by booting out the Russians... of course that is hard to see in this photo...

It’s amazing how you keep adding all the little details. Looks like you’re getting closer to finishing this one. I’ve got more popcorn coming lol.

Some more details on the buildings while I wait for the clear sealer to dry on the roadway area so the clay will adhere to it better.
