I found out yesterday that I need cataract surgery in both eyes. Left one will be in February. Right one will be in March. Maybe then I can build better MOPAR models! LoL

Did that last year; had to remain face down for awhile, including sleeping, no exertion for a couple weeks. Lots of eye drops for several weeks. Manageable, though it takes over your life for a while. The improvement in colors, brightness, and night driving is significant. At certain viewing angles, it seems I can detect the outer edge of the implant, which is weird but not a problem.
You'll learn how magical yet fragile eyesight is in the process. The success rate is very high, just follow directions.

Thanks, guys. Mrs. Bucky went through it a couple years ago, and she didn't have a lot of trouble recovering from it. Hopefully, I'll have the same good fortune.

My cataract surgery has been postponed until late June. Meanwhile, I have found out that I have prostate cancer. So far, no surgery is required for that, and no treatments are called for. Periodic checkup to see if it gets worse. Just two of the reasons I haven't logged on much in a while.

My Wife had it done and came out fine. I have them but they are not bad but sooner or later I will need to have it done as well.

Sorry to hear about the prostate cancer - seems odd that the doctor's not doing anything about it.

It's grade 1, which is non-aggressive. He said it may not ever get worse, and I could live for decades with it and die from something else.

Which is very much likely, as I have been living with a pacemaker in me chest since 2013, and one non-functioning lung since 2016! HAHAHAHAHA

So, now I've had cataract surgery on all two of my eyeballs. Left one two weeks ago, right one yesterday. Both are still sore and fairly sensitive to bright light. I can already see better without the spectacles. Going back in two weeks for follow up and to possibly get a new prescription for a new pair of eyeglasses.
