I’ve had my Super Bee for about 19 years. The last 10 have been a love / hate relationship. I had a stroker built 11 years ago and put it in a year later. It only lasted about 100 miles due to a catastrophic failure. I was so pissed that I just let the car sit in the garage. That engine was pulled out about a year and a half ago. It was rebuilt and I just picked it up last week. Should be up and running in the Spring. Here’s a video of the car from many moons ago - And here’s the car after the engine was put in 10 years ago -

Very slow process. It seems that no matter who you order parts from, packages are either incomplete (like bolt kits) or even expedited shipping takes longer than it should.

I know all too well about delays: my bracket car project should have been done months ago, but it's probably a month or two from being driveable. For me it hasn't been parts or shipping so much as local vendors and discovering things on the car that I don't consider track-ready. Just keep plugging away; don't set a completion date, and focus on doing the job as properly as possible. Step back if something gets too frustrating, and think it through. That car's very nice !

I got a package today with a seal and a gasket for my tranny. Of course they shipped the wrong gasket. That’s the third Mopar company in a month with a screw up on parts I ordered.

Keep at it. It will get there. Your Bee looks too good to not finish. I have a project car that needs parts that mostly come from wrecking yards! And there were only 474 of them ever built!

Did I say up and running in the spring? This thing still wants to fight me pretty much every step of the way. Next mini project is to figure out the fuel system. No more mechanical pump because the lobe on the cam for the fuel pump rod was somehow worn down.

The alternator is bolted in, carb is on, fan, radiator, shroud and overflow tank are installed. The next big thing is to figure out the duel system with the electric pump.
