I keep a tub of paint stripper close by, myself! It gets to be routine in my Hobby Shack! LoL Looking forward to seeing this one finished. I like a good Mercury! I had a white '65 Comet back in the late seventies.

Thanks Keith! My Dad had a '71 Cougar that he bought brand new and he drove it into the ground like he did with his '60 Buick LeSabre.

I also had a 65' Comet Cyclone in the 70's! Loved that car! This is when I got it on my 16th Birthday in Lancaster California! This is what I changed it to a few months later with paint and lots of work!

Thanks Mike! Have you built the Mobius 65' Comet kit? It's a really nice kit!

Thank you Keith and Joe! The hood was given to me since I had asked for something with scoops on it by a friend at the Classic Plastic Model Club.
The body is glued on to the chassis. There is a gap between the end of the chassis and the rear bumper and the exhaust tips cannot be seen. More issues to correct.

Thanks Joe and Keith! Not to much left to do, but it is still work and I'm getting tired of having this one on the bench. Time for this one to go up on the shelf!
