Isn’t that color for the North African campaign?

Isn’t that color for the North African campaign? That's just the base color... it gets camo...

Found my two incomplete Schwimmwagon's and some old German figures to add to my build too. Let's see where this goes...

Nice details Joe! Your camouflage looks great. What’s the white part on the barrel?

Nice details Joe! Your camouflage looks great. What’s the white part on the barrel? Within the Wehrmacht it was common practice to paint kill rings on the barrels of tank, anti-tank and anti-aircraft guns showing it was in danger of being shot but had killed the other tank or weapon. These also made the barrel look shorter to and enemy at long range by breaking up the long expanse! If you look closely at the very front of the stripes you will see a small picture of an enemy tank on each side.

Thanks Joe for the information on the stripes and when I zoomed in I saw the tank. Did you use metal aftermarket tracks?

Thanks Joe for the information on the stripes and when I zoomed in I saw the tank. Did you use metal aftermarket tracks? No those are Tamiya rubber tracks that actually looked good enough for me!
