I did some detailing today. After viewing some Google pictures of several '56 T-Birds, I noticed the rear bumper had notches for the exhaust and the windshield has blobs of adhesive and I didn't have any material to make a windshield, so I use the old one. I detailed the rear taillights and the front indicators based on those pictures.

Unfortunately, no. The glue marks are all around the windshield and are quite thick. Whoever put this model together must have used tube glue. The rear window broke in half when I tried to remove it from the roof and it has a lot of tube glue on it.

It's been a while, but I started sanding the imperfections out of my '56 T-Bird. So far, so good. Another coat of Tamiya TS-8 Italian Red paint and hopefully the T-Bird will be ready for assembly. The spare tire will just need polishing.

The T-Bird has got the body assembled to the frame and now I am adding some of the chrome bits to the body. The taillights have been painted and detailed. I should decide on a color for the top, be it white or red. It has been painted white, but I'm not happy with it.
