When we sold the old house, I was informed that I couldn't put my hobby in the spare bedroom at the new house. Well, I had dragged two outbuildings down to the new homesite, so I decided to use one of those for a new hobby lair. Mrs. BUCKY appropriately named it Hobby Shack, and chose the colors for the sign. Following is a journey of me whipping this building into the Hobby Shack. It started out as this pale yellow color. It matched the old house very well, but didn't fit in here: This is after I added the railings: I started out by painting the trim and the porch railings white: I then started with the light gray, which matches the new house. Notice Mrs. BUCKY's sign: This shows the difference between the yellow and gray: One side complete, except for the doors: A good coat of dark gray on the porch boards: At this point, things are going smooth. More Hobby Shack to come.....................................................

There's a guy down here who moves these buildings for a living. He has a trailer that does 90% of the work, and it has a remote control! LoL I actually had him bring two buildings to the new place. Didn't take long, as we only moved twelve miles. I do have a good heater for the Hobby Shack, and it's insulated fairly well. Nothing will freeze in there. We're in the southern part of Tennessee.

One of the kids from my old SoCal neighborhood just moved to somewhere around Lynchburg and loves it. He was a helluva commercial & residential contractor but finally escaped Calif.
