Revell 1970 Dodge Charger

Finally finished, almost. I misplaced the battery on my work bench somewhere! I will look around for it for a bit and if no luck, I'll grab one from the spares pile. The wheels and tires are the optional set from the Revell 67 charger kit. Adding your own wheels is a real pain in the butt with this kit. It has these funky metal pins that attach to the wheels and then press in the hubs.I made the mags work with some creativity and junk box hubs.I wanted to use the black hood inserts but I couldn't get them to not wrinkle. I tried setting solution to no avail. All in all a nice kit.

nice job. that is the first 70 I have seen finished. looks great with the cragars even though they gave you fits. hey, that is what modeling is all about. I really like the 69. they look good together.

Nice work, both rides look good. I like the detailing, especially on the chassis.

If any one asks about the battery just tell them its in the trunk!

Looks great! Love the Cragars, too! I have this kit and a set of wheels I got from the NNL East this year. I believe they are by Steve Zimmerman and they look like big-n-little Magnum 500s. They need a little detailing and they will be Magnum 500s!
