Anybody else use model paint on their real vehicles? Tamiya Semi Gloss Black for the Jeep’s door handles.    |

I used model paints to detail dashes, but that's about it. I find the tires to be just a touch small. I keep loosing the lug nots. nice job on the handle.

I’ve done door handles for my son’s friend on his car used Model Masters Metallic black with clear coat. Came out good and stayed on until he sold it.

I’ve done door handles for my son’s friend on his car used Model Masters Metallic black with clear coat. Came out good and stayed on until he sold it. I used Testor’s clear semi gloss laquer over the Tamiya black. It will probably last 10 minutes with my wife and kids. |
