So I’m working on the Revell 1957 Ford Del Rio wagon and it’s going to be pulling that boat I’m also working on.
But I’d like to make a correct looking trailer hitch for it as well as rebuilding the boat trailer to look more accurate as well. But I’m having a hard time finding any reference photos for the trailer hitch!

Just would like to have one that you would have gotten when the Ford was new. A lot of car and truck owners would have taken their new cars to a hitch shop and had an aftermarket thing added to their vehicle. It could a mass produced hitch, or one that the shop designed on the spot. So, just about anything would work. I know a lot of vehicles left the factory with tow packages, too, so there are many variations that would most likely work. I like the one MrMike added to his build....looks great! I made up a hitch at the power house I worked at in 1978 to add to the 1978 Li'l Red Express that I was driving back then. Looked nice, and served the purpose!!
