AMC has been Mopar for awhile now.
And Jeeps are Mopars too.

The more I look at that car, the more I like it. I could be just as happy with it as I would be with any MOPAR. I don't know that I have ever seen a bright yellow one before. There were a few running around my little hometown back in the 70s, but not yellow as best I recall. I distinctly remember a silver one and a blue one and I really liked both of them. You have to admit, that's a great look. Smooth, flowing lines and a pretty good stance.

I owned a '74 once, it looked a lot like that one too. mine had a brown vinyl top with a matching interior. Like most cars at that end of the muscle car era, it was an anemic gas hog. But it was still fun to drive and looked good at the cruise nights. I think my first ex-wife may still have it. I honestly don't miss either of them.

I like the shorter ones better, 68, 69.

I like the shorter ones better, 68, 69. Not a thing wrong with the earlier AMX, for sure. I liked them too.

Nice ride. I had a bright red '78 Gremlin X. Unfortunately no V8s for it but the inline 6 made it scamper.

My AMX had a 304 V-8, automatic. It would do 92 MPH, no matter how I pushed it!!

I have AMC Hornet Sportabout '71 232 automatic. It restored and museum registered. We AMC freaks think we are only adopted child to Chrysler.
