Here is an interesting little tidbit about the new Redeye. Every time I try to think about this, it just boggles my mind.
The Redeye's full system consists of 2 dual-stage fuel pumps. At wide open throttle the engine consumes 1.43 gallons of gas per minute. It will drain the tank in 11 minutes at full throttle. Wow!

I don’t like the Firebird hood style hood scoops.
And for those who say they’re supposed to be like the scoops on A and B bodies, I respectfully disagree.

The car does look totally awesome. That being said, there really IS something about the hood and scoops that looks "off" or out of place. I sure wouldn't let those scoops interfere with owning one. When the "new" Challenger was first introduced there were several things that looked "off" when compared to the Challengers of old. I've since gotten used to pretty much all of those things.

The new Challenger looks more true to the original than the new Camaro does. But, that's just my opinion. This one you posted sure seems to like the gas station scene!! That's a lot of gas going thru there!!

I agree about the hood it looks too GM like. It reminds me of the 70 olds 442 ram air hood. I'd rather have the shaker anyway.
