I didn't know if this was the right place for this thread. If not, feel free to move or delete. I saw this on another site. Upcoming release of a Dodge pickup kit. Will be a welcome sight!!!

From what I've seen, I'd almost rather Moebius take a shot at a new tooling. Don't get me wrong I would love to have the MPC kits back and who knows maybe Round 2 will update the underpinnings of these kits to a more modern standard. The body's of these kits have always been adequate by my standards, it's just the rest of the kits that were a little subpar.
Of course, one way to check the validity of this is to google search the image.
But all in all, I do truly hope that we will see these kits in the very near future.

Sad to say I found the image that they are using for the box art. It's from an old dodge truck add. www.tocmp.com/brochures/Dodge/1977/Pickups/pages/dodge02_jpg.htmAnd by looking at all of Round 2's latest box art I'm calling this one a fraud. I really hope I'm wrong, I'd really love to see these older long beds back on the shelves. But I'm simply not willing to hold my breath on this one.

It has been confirmed by a buddy of mine who emailed John at Round 2 and he did mention it would have a bonus in it! And they have tooled up new 5 lug wheels for it.!! I know I will be buying up a few of these kits!!

I think it's one of those "and, why not?" opportunities. I'm a little bit put off by the same old stuff being re-issued time and time again.

I'll believe it when I see the production box. But if it's true I'm in.
