I would probably have to pick one up, but I sure wish it was an earlier example. Even a ‘73 or ‘74 would be better.

If ya get one, Steve, I may have a '73 grill for ya. I’ll keep that in mind. I generally like the look of the earlier trucks from the 60s and early 70s over the later 70s and 80s. That includes Dodge, Chevy and Ford. Steve

My Dad had a '73 D-100, and I had a '78 LRE, so I like 'em both!! LOL
But, I also had '84, '86, and '89 Dodge trucks, so there ya go!! HAHAHA

The 78’s did have slant 6’s. It was rare but they were available with the slant 6. I almost purchased one with the slant 6 back in 01. It was all original, engine and tranny needed to be rebuilt or replaced. The price was good but the thing was not running. I am not a fan of AMT kits but will be getting s few of these kits. Now that I am home, here is a link to the sales ad. The slat 6 was standard with v-8 options. www.xr793.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/1978-Dodge-Pickups.pdf

Steve Thanks for the heads up on it being the old MPC kit.I emailed R2 and was told that it will be out in March time period. I decided I was not going to buy any more kits till I get some old started kits finished. But looks like I am going to have to call myself a liar. I will be getting the 78 D-100, the Revell Daytona Charger and the Revell 68 C*** Chevelle kit. Now I need to get a couple old kits finished.
