In building the '67 Coronet, the instruction sheet calls for a chrome piece to be attached to the leading edge of the hood. The question is....which side is up? There is a kinda groove on one side, and the other side is smooth. In the Revell '67 Charger kit, that piece has a lip on the top that goes against the hood, and the grooved side goes down toward the grille. Is it the same on the Coronet hood?
Thanks for any help!!

The striker plate 61 is wrong position in the instructions. Check my Coronet pickup how to put it right.

Thanks, sportabout. I finally got a chance to put that piece on the hood. It's looking like yours does, now.
