I got this in the mail: After smearing some wood glue around, I left it to dry for a few hours: Then, I loaded it up! This unit is from Hobby Zone. They have other modules that you can combine in all sorts of ways to style your own hobby space. I think I'll add more of the different sections, as the pocket change allows!

That looks pretty spiffy. I might check them out.

Thanks for showing that and posting the link! Since I'm building a new work bench and I have been thinking about looking into picking some of that stuff up to use on the new bench.

that stuff is neat. and it really isn't that expensive. not cheap by no means. when i found out it was wood (kind of) that made it better. they have lots of stuff. you can make a hell of a storage place with them. there are stuff on youtube also for this stuff, i believe.

I could go hog wild grabbing these units for the hobby room! Then, I could rid myself of all the mismatched items that I'm using now! Might make me feel better about making trips to the hobby room!!! LOL
They say organization is key....I don't know about that....I've never had that happen in my hobby room!! HAHAHAHA

That seems way too organized for me. Here's my "brush and tool caddy".
Somehow, I always manage to find what I'm looking for.

I kept mine in a cup, but it seemed like every time I reached for a brush, I'd knock over the cup! Then, I'd have too many brushes out! HAHAHA This is about the only thing that's organized around my bench! LOL

I made an addition to the workbench: I got this little stack of wooden parts. Seems to be just right for the Model Master bottle paints. The first seven parts are together, and I staged some paint bottles to get an idea of what it will look like. At the present, this is the paint rack I have in place: And here is the new rack, with all the pieces in place: In this view, I have replaced the old rack with this new one, and it's already filled up! It gives me more room on the workbench, along with the brush caddy: This is not a HobbyZone brand item, but it assembles in a similar manner. I may hafta grab another one, as it will also hold the Tamiya small bottles, along with other modeling products.

Pretty cool. Looks like it works with craft paints too.

There are different size holes available for different brands of paints. I found this on eBay, and the description mentioned which brands would fit this particular rack, and Model Master and Tamiya was listed. I may need to get another one if these.
