I am very glad to have run across a real site dedicated to my beloved hobby of building and collecting plastic kits and diecast cars. My name is Steve "Stangfreak" Mason from Columbus Ohio and am now 64 years old. I attribute this hobby to keeping me young at heart. I have been building and collecting since I was about 5 years old and still love it. My second loved hobby is playing music. I collect mostly 1/64th, 1/32nd, 1/24th, and 1/18th scales of all makes, models, and years of automobiles. My main love is for Mustangs, but have owned several Mopars in my days and love them as well. I do respect all makes and classic cars. I enjoy building dioramas, customizing, restoring, and making allot of my own pieces of dio accessories and customizing parts. I just finished a life long dream of building a toy room for all my car collection, which now consists of well over 13,000 cars. The room ended up being 24 ft X 16 ft and I have run out of room already...LOL Here is a quick tour of my room and collection...
Some of my 1/24ths, diecast and plastic builds...

Welcome Steve. That is one he'll of a collection pal. Really nice builds, never seen so many 1/64 cars in one place. Also the guitars, fenders, peaveys and drums. By the looks of things, you like to hammer and bang a lot. Noticed the pro street runner too. We are pretty laid back here. Somewhere between a PG13 and R rating I'd say. I added a few things here in the last few months to kick it up a notch.
ROCK ON STEVE!!!
kind of void of 6 bangers in your place.... someone will fill you in on that comment.

Exact opposite there Bucky. I held my tongue and didn't mention your utter and absolute disdain of slant sixes or your little E.D. (erecting difficulty) problem with your models. But now the cats are out of the bags. You can't blame me this time! -slant smile. LOL

Thank you all so very, very much for the warm welcomes... I am really glad to have found this "REAL" site to learn tips and tricks of building models. I have built and collected cars of all kinds, scales, materials, and makes. Plastic kits, diecast, building dioramas sinc I was a small boy back in the early 60s late 50s. There used to be a few model sites I belonged to several years ago, but I was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and been fighting it ever since. Had to take a pretty long break from surgeries, treatments and meds as the cancer kept coming back. When I was well enough to return to the computer, I found many of the sites had faded away and gone. Facebook seemed to kinda take over, but I don't find them as helpful as real sites like this one. I absolutely love this hobby and it has definitely helped pull me through some dark, scary, and painful times over the last 12 years. I admire all classic and muscle cars no matter what make or model. If it survived all these years it deserves my respect. I have owned a few sweet looking and damn good running Mopars and Mustangs. Sure wish I still had 1 or 2 of them beautiful rides I thrashed, trashed and crashed...LOL... All cars today look kinda like eggs with wheels and on steroids of some kind. The colors aren't bright and stand outish as the good ole muscle rides. Never seen so many drab colors on the rush hours and parking lots now days...
So much looking forward to meeting and getting to know ya all and building again!!!
