I picked this model kit up about 20-25 years ago at a garage sale. It had been brush painted an ugly blue, a glue bombed and partiality built. I spent several months disassembling and restoring many parts. Some I had to locate from ebay and other modelers. It had definitely seen it's better days. I did manage to get it looking good for awhile until one of my grandsons decided to color it with a permanent marker. Again a new paint job and rebuild was needed. Here it is today along with some adds and mods!!!
Located a front bumper...

Pretty cool, I have a '68 Dart on the bench currently, although I have had to shelve building temporarily due to some medical procedures. I'm hoping to get back to building in the next week or so.

10.70 is pretty quick. Must be one heck of an engine. My L023 SS runs 10.23.

Man~O~Man... This is one fabulous build here. Sure looks meaner than "TWO" rattle snakes... Love the detail you did with that Hemi... AWESOME job there!!!I did up a little 1/64th Hot Wheels Dart that way with a two tone primer gray... They look good and mean with the front ends a darker color!!!I bought a Dart back in 75 or 76 that was something I didn't know I had. I paid 1 thousand for it with no engine or drive train and no interior except a racing bucket seat. It had some kind of lexan windows and a fiberglass deck lid, hood and front fenders in the trunk. I also noticed it had small metal plates riveted on the door jambs saying "This vehicle not intended for public highway use"... It really looked like a piece of crap at the time... I always thought this was a race car someone was building for the strip. The guy was divorcing and selling everything he could. I also had to sell it because parents squawking about space and being an eyesore... I never knew these were special Darts that came factory like that. I was young, dumb, and didn't know my A$$ from a hole in the ground then... Never did find out much about those Darts either...
