Last night I saw a dream. I drove a car along the sunny promenade. The Car was Charger '69 with bench front seat, three on the tree, steel wheels with hub cabs and Slant 6 . When I woke up I realized that car should be built. It is a good project for a man with wrong medication Revell '69 Charger is a good starting point.
The famous Slant Six was available in the Charger from 1968 through 1970 but production numbers may be under 1000, who knows.
Rare 1968 model:
Can anyone find '69 pictures?
I know Al loves Slant 6 in Charger

The one you have pictured is a '70: Top to bottom...'68...'69...'70. I'd say a slant six Charger would be quite uncommon, but Mother MOPAR was known to do unusual things back in the day!!

its been long enough. there should not be a 6 cylinder charger, or any other car, in existence… I think all those slant 6's were collected and dumped off the Baring Sea to form a reef. best use for them bar none!!!

I bet a /6 ‘68 - ‘70 Charger is as rare as a Hemi Charger these days

maybe. a thousand times less desirable. all those slant 6 chargers, runners and such ended up as race cars or parts cars for the parts hoarders. in the late 70's thru the 90's. then more than half went to the junkyard. heck, my friends and I stripped out at least 10 road runners, satellites and belvederes

I know my dad would take a /6 over a Hemi any day.

I would prefer 440 with automatic because Hemi is too rare and expensive. Slant 6 is not the right engine for Chargers. 383 4-barrel is minimum. God let me win in lottery. I know one great '70 Charger for sale not far from here. But in model car world slant six would be a nice project.

A six in an early Charger is like putting a 318 2 barrel in a '68 Chrysler 300. It just don't belong there!! LOL Put the slanter in a '68 Coronet Deluxe, 4 door with no radio! (My Dad had one of those!)

I drive, usually, a Charger relative with a six, and nobody questions that. But she is a Magnum. LOL

I would prefer 440 with automatic because Hemi is too rare and expensive. You could always shove a sales code 09 426 Max Wedge in it. They are less than half the cost of a Hemi. Still cost a pretty penny, but lots less than a Hemi and built for racing with 425 ponies.
