I found and bought this Johnny Lightning diecast Hemi Cuda many moons ago with hopes and thoughts of finding the pieces and building a replica model of Gordon Collet's "Collector" Cuda. Gordon was a good friend of the family and we traveled to many drag strips with him in the 70s... I was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 so all of my projects went on hold. Most still are...LOL
Gordon's Pro Stock Cuda...
Gorden still has the Cuda and many of the Hemi Dragsters he built in the 60s. The Cuda is in storage at his son's house in Baltimore Maryland. He had a double Hemi Dragster that he designed the part to go between the Hemis to keep them in sinc... He crashed that one and almost lost his life... Quite a Mopar Man!!!
It was quite the thrill seeing and hearing those beautiful Hemis start and run after all those years!!!
