Looks like a keeper to me!! I had a '69 Dart GT back in the early '80's. Wish I still had that one!

That's cool! Did you originally live there? My family is from there. I was born and raised in NYC. My parents moved back after I finished HS. I wanted a car to go to college and I was looking for a Camaro. I had $600 saved from my part time job and found this sweet red 68 with a tan top and 327. The owner a young guys wife was having a baby and needed money was selling it for $1200. And my Pops being a Mopar guy refuses to lend me the rest of the money to get says "what do you want to buy an old car for". Crazy huh. But later a buddy of mine had this Dart his father got him and he didn't drive. Asked me if I wanted it. Of course my Pops saw the car and agreed to give the rest of the money to get it. It did turn out to be a great car. This is why I still have it.

awesome story. nice little car, you can fit a narrowed dana under there real easy!! never felt that way about my first car... '74 maverick 6 cylinder. anyways, if you plan on shipping it, call a shipping company, not those car hauling places. most of them are just middle men and will call a shipping company and charge you $500 for a phone call. I learned that from experience. do you research on the shipping company, make sure they are a good one.

My Dad did me a similar way about my first car. A friend of mine had a 1968 gold Torino GT fastback for sale for $800. My Dad went with me for a test drive. He sad the 302 didn't have any get up and go, so he wouldn't front the money. I was 18 at the time. A bit later, one of his co-workers put a 1966 Dodge Coronet 4dr. up for sale for $600. One owner, nice car, with a 318. Of course, that's the one I ended up driving!! LOL

I found a picture of my Dart as it was back in the 80's. Later I replaced the hood and nose to the brown one it has now because of the amount of filler it had from its first owner. Lol parents are crazy with buying cars for their kids.

Can't say that I've ever brown nosed anything but those vector wheels ( I never said General Lee...... phew! ) look absolutely spot on with the Black Duster .

Sorry for the poor quality picture. My car is actually Dark green. And the wheels were flat. I have these rims in the trunk. A friend gave me some cheap rims tires and they also went flat. Lol.

My first car was Simca Aronde 1960 or 1961. 1,3 litres 4 cylinder engine produced 48 horsepower. Not fast but funny. Something like this:
