Does anybody know anything about the Buick V6 that is in the Opel GT kit? What year and what size it is, by chance?

Here is a link with some info on this dandy little car: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opel_GTI found no info on a factory installed V-6 in the Opel, but since these cars were at Buick dealerships, it might be a Buick V-6 in the kit.

Yeah, it's definitely a Buick V6 in the kit. I was just wondering which version of the V6 it might be.

I have looked at a few reviews on this and all it states, if anything, is that is is a GM v6. so your guess is as good as mine. if it were me, id take out the inner fenders, flatten the firewall and put a 392 hemi with mickey Thomson valve covers and fenderwell headers in it.

Thanks for those links, Al. I had found one of them when I searched. The other 2 are very interesting articles.
I guess I'll just figure the V6 to be whatever Buick was offering in a V6 around the mid 70s. There were 4 or 5 different engine paint colors for the V6 and two different firing orders. If I just figure the motor to be a mid 70s variety I shouldn't be too wrong, I guess.
Thanks for taking the time to do a little searching. And no, there won't be a Hemi in this build. I'm going to stick with the V6.
