I posted a thread about finding a Hobby Lobby close to home elsewhere, but have a specific question so thought it should go here.
Does anybody know if the kits that are on the Hobby Lobby website are actually carried in all the stores? I just did a kind of quick search on the website and found at least a half dozen kits that I'd be interested in if they are stocked in the store I found. I was just wondering how closely the in-store inventory compares to the website inventory.

I'm not sure, but I think each individual store has somebody who orders their stock. I do know the two closest HL stores to me put kits on clearance at very different times.

I kind of feared that might be the case. With my luck, I'll walk in and find a grand total of 3 SnapTite kits. LOL!

They should have a fairly good selection. I've found in the last couple years that HL carries more kits and supplies than Michael's does.

I know what's going to happen. Even though I've got stuff I really NEED to be doing around the house, I'm going to convince myself to go with the wife this Friday instead of waiting until next Tuesday. I just won't be happy unless I go back and shop the store on Friday. I probably should just resign myself to that fact right now and then work around being gone all Friday afternoon and evening.
I've got a bag of weed & feed to spread on the yard and another bag of crabgrass killer to spread. I planned to do that Friday after I mow tomorrow. I might as well just change plans and figure on spreading both bags on Saturday.
But hey, how often does a guy get a chance to check out the models and supplies in a fairly new Hobby Lobby, especially when that new store is half as far away as the next nearest store? It's an opportunity and a learning experience. Right?

From my experience, no. But there is usually a way to find out if your store has it in stock, I just can't remember how. I do remember that it's a pain to find on their web site though.

I did just a little fiddle-fartin' around trying to find a way to check a local store's supply. If I don't figure it out by Friday I'll try finding a store manager or assistant manager and ask them.

Print a 40% coupon for Friday, and then print another one for next Tuesday!

Print a 40% coupon for Friday, and then print another one for next Tuesday! Oh, yeah. I'm already planning on that. That's another reason for me to go Friday instead of Tuesday. I can see what they have on the shelf, buy one kit with a coupon while I'm there, then pick a couple more out that interest me, and have the wife pop in when she goes Tuesday to pick up whatever they have on the shelf that's on my "want list". Yep, already thought of that. I have no idea what the store has in stock, but in looking at what the website lists there are a dozen, give or take, that I'd be interested in with the 40% coupon, especially the Revell '69 Yenko Nova, the AMT Nova SS Pro Stocker, the AMT '66 Merc Super Street Rod, and the Revell '68 Chevelle SS 396. Then there are several MOPAR kits listed that I'd like to have a second kit of.
