The " banger racers " over here say things like : ' well , they'll never be roadworthy again , too much for a M.O.T. test.'
Well matey boy ,AHEM...- you managed to weld the doors shut , weld on panels for your vile fluro numbers etcetera etcetera... so whats wrong with sorting the crack in the chassis ?? different welder ? And that screen you just hammered out was worth £750 ! You tit !

I agree that all restorable and or rare parts should be removed from demo cars first. But must admit that I enjoy watching a good demo derby.
The guys that do those banger races take some super hard hits, those guys are nuts.

Oh and most importantly, no car over 10 years old should be entered into any of this type of event.

I think they should have a rule that no demo derby can take place without at least two '57 Chevies entered.
