I'm looking for old modeling magazines that have articles in them that detail building a specific kit. I'm only interested in articles that use and detail a single kit. I'm not at all interested in any article that involves kitbashing 2 or more kits. I've bought several old mags that have articles like that already.
So, if you either have a magazine with a how-to in it you'd be willing to sell, trade, or give away, send me a PM. If you happen to know about a good article like that and just don't have the mag, either post up or PM me with the info and I'll search the 'Net to try and find the issue.
A really good example of the kind of article I'm referring to is the '70 'Cuda build that Tim Boyd did in the April 2014 issue of Scale Auto mag.

Hey Steve, you probably know about the YouTube videos. A lot of those guys do straight kit builds that include detailing too.

Yep. I'm aware. I don't really watch stuff on YouTube. I prefer ink & paper. Thirty plus years of looking at a blue tube were enough. I don't do a lot on a computer anymore.

ha, that was pretty good. anyways, the big problem I have with computers is I look for a how to on making distributors, I end up 2 hours later watching a dog bite at water coming out of a hose or looking at barely wearing nothing girls leaning over an engine compartment.

its funny, you can type in "glass end table" and no doubt, you will get some sort of girl picture.
I will be going thru a lot of my magazines here in the next few months. I will keep this in mind.
