New Dodge truck VS original 1978 kit.

I thought I would share some info on the New MPC 1978 Dodge truck compared to the original 1978 dodge truck and the difference between the new one and the Lil Red Express Kit.

The first photo show the new tooled chassis vs the original.

Left is original and right is the new one.
As you can see the left is much wider and doesn’t have the gas tank as it was behind the seat.




Next you will see the difference between the old cab vs the new one. New has no body trim.



Next is the different between the beds. Pretty the same as the cab with no trim on the new one.

Now here is the different between the Lil Red Express chassis and the new one.



I hope this helps with answering anyone’s questions about the difference in the kits.

Hopefully, Round 2 is planning on a few different versions of this kit in the future!
