Do any of you guys use this adhesive? I've been playing with several different kinds and brands of glue. After making some messes with other stuff, I've found this seems to work best for me. And does anybody know of any reason I might want to avoid this? Any input on this will be appreciated. I've sworn off the regular Testors Plastic Cement in the tube. I used it as a kid and made messes then, and I seem to still be able to make messes with it now. I've also found that the Liquid Cement dries in 20 - 30 seconds allowing me to do more assembly quicker than with the tube cement. www.hobbylinc.com/testors-liquid-plastic-cement-1-oz-plastic-model-cement-3502

When I'm not using Locktite super glue, I use this: It has a needle-point applicator, which means less of a mess. I use the following one for windows and headlight and taillight lenses: It can also be used to make windows and lenses, but I haven't tried it for that.

OK. That liquid cement is the same thing I'm using, except yours has that needle point applicator. I need to check into that, for sure. Using that brush can be a little problematic at times. I have resorted to using a toothpick a couple of times for small pieces. Thanks for that heads up! I have some Clear Parts Cement. I'd have to check, but I believe mine is in the same container as what you have there. Steve (goofy62) tipped me off to that way back when I was first buying supplies. Thanks to both of you for that one. Since you are using the Testors Liquid Cement, I'm just guessing you know of no problems in using it. At least I managed to settle on a type of glue that doesn't present problems. I did at least one thing right! LOL! EDIT: Just had a thought. I could go ahead and buy a bottle of the Liquid Cement with the needle point applicator now and then just use this glass bottle to refill the applicator bottle. Duh!

I just make sure a bare minimum drop comes out the tip, onto the part. If I need more, I can get more. A little goes a long way, sometimes.

I ALWAYS put too much glue on. I use tenex-7 and another similar to that from model car world (where Marty gets his thousands of bottles of paints). I use a brush to apply it.... must be the brush cause I apply it like paint!!
