That is the question? I want to hinge the hood on the ‘48 Ford and I think I have a pretty good idea on how it should be done. I’m just having trouble figuring out how to do it the easiest way possible.

I did a side hinge like that on a ghostbusters Caddy, but it’s a bit tight when opening / closing.

Okay so I saw a video of a modeler using HO universal rail joiners to make hood hinges and I went and picked some up today. I’m liking them and just need to do some tweaking and then glue them in place.

as long as you like them. a paper clip and tubing would have done the same.
