It's Ed's fault!

I kept going back to look at those new wheels on Ed's car and decided to start "Internet shopping". I've run across a few different ones that grabbed my attention. A couple of those are something I wouldn't have dreamed I would like, but they sure do look sharp. The first one below is a Cragar SS look alike, but at about a third of the price. The second one is an American Racing wheel that is really similar to the Torq Thrust. The third one is a dark horse, I guess.

And then there is that last one. It's an RTX Vertex wheel. The thing that got me was the red and black finish. Our Avenger is red with black accents. I just keep trying to imagine those wheels on our car. Not too sure about it yet but it does have my attention!

Actually, the first wheel is a chrome plated Ridler 675 wheel and to me, looks nothing like a Cragar SS wheel which has different shaped "legs", the second is a "Daisy" wheel by American Racing, the third is a ION Truck wheel (note the multiple lugs holes), and of course, the RTX Vertex.

The Ridler and the Cragar are both polished chrome 5 spoke wheels, so they are "similar" to me. The biggest difference to me is the $125 price for the Ridler versus the $300 price for the Cragar.

The American Racing wheel is listed as "Gunmetal". Not sure if that was a kind of typo on the website or not. The wheel looks somewhat like a Torq Thrust except the spokes are wider and beefier on the "Gunmetal" or Daisy wheel.

I have the good, old Torq Thrust bookmarked as well.


EDIT:  I wonder why that Ion wheel came up in a whole long list of 17" wheels for an Avenger.

Yeah it's my fault alright. Lol because if your going to keep the car you might as well snazz it up. And it only took me 3 years to decide which wheels to buy. So good luck with that. Lol.

I saw one just like this today at the local store, and it looked good with the chrome rollers.

Those do look good on that car, Keith. I like that look, for sure.  While browsing around a little earlier I ran across these. They are a long way from chrome, but they have my attention. They are Konig Illusions, and well within my budget. I'll have to at least give these some consideration. They wouldn't be nearly as attractive to me if our car wasn't red, but since it is,,,,,,
