I never knew that a pressure cooker was involved!! It gets pressurized to 65 psi and helps get all the air bubbles out of the resin as it’s curing

I kinda thought that might be the reason. Looks like a well engineered system, too. Yes sir it’s getting there. This is a vacuum chamber that gets all the air out of silicone so it doesn’t get any air bubbles in it while it’s curing.

I just love it when I see that there are still enterprising individuals out there that are willing to take on operations like this.
It gives me hope for the future of the hobby.
I for one would be willing to lend parts from vintage kits for reproduction in resin for the right operation.
Provided that I get the originals back of course!

Steve We are looking at doing stuff like that and of course what ever you sent us we would send you back plus copies of them. One of the guys in our club has a much of Jo-Han kits that he is going to bring us.
