I got my Hemi Dragster Engine in the mail today. It's not a kit. As far as I can tell it was only offered as a complete, assembled display piece. I just couldn't imagine having 6 other 1/6 scale engines, including 2 other Hemis, without this dragster engine included.
Even though it's not a kit, this thing is cool. It's pretty detailed and pretty darned authentic looking. It will definitely look great displayed with the other 1/6 scales I'll be building. I'm going to have a buddy build me a long display case to mount on the wall near ceiling height for all the 1/6 scales, then another similar display for the three 1/4 scale engines I have.
Regardless of the fact this thing isn't a kit to build, if you want a really neat 1/6 scale Hemi Dragster Engine in your display, take a look at eBay for one of these. Most of them are priced between $42 and $49, but careful shopping and regular checking can get you one well under $40, and that's the voice of experience. 👍
I'd post photos, but you can see the thing on eBay or by searching the 'Net for it. And yes, I'll be posting some photos of the Hemi 'Cuda engine I'm building. I've just had a few bad days recently. Haven't been at the bench at all.
Heck, I might even post a photo or three of the complete and total mess that is supposed to be my temp hobby room. 😜

I'm going to be really busy today. Having spent the past 3 - 4 days on the couch let the work pile up. I've got a young kid coming to help out. We're going to spend quite a bit of time on yard work, then at least a little on clearing out half the garage to get ready for the hobby room.
I might be able to get some photos up tomorrow if I don't overdo it today. We're all controlled by our good health or lack thereof.

I see some very minor differences, but yeah, it's the same engine. I'd guess that yours & mine are from different years. They probably made a few changes from year to year.
