Hey, no problem. If you still have the T handle you can start buying the parts needed to rebuild the car. You've got a great start. They sell EVERYTHING you'd need to rebuild it, from the chassis to the paint. Go for it! Shouldn't cost much more than $100,000 or so.

Didn't I say that the car is long gone? I traded the Duster 340 for a new '76 Dodge pickup and never saw the car again. I traded the Dodge for a '78 Datsun Kingcab pickup which was traded for a '79 Ford pickup which was sold for a '83 Bronco II which was sold for a '87 Ford 4X4 pickup which was sold for a '98 Dodge Dakota 2X4 pickup which was sold for a '06 Dakota Quadcab 4X4 pickup which was sold for a '16 Mazda CX-5. To build a Duster 340 just to have a place for the T-handle is a waste of time and money which I don't have. Besides, I would probably opt for an automatic transmission since I'm retired and getting lazy.

I know I'd opt for an automatic, and for the same reason. I can choose to do the manual shifting in our Avenger like I did a couple of weeks ago and that's good enough for me.

I found it in a hobby shop in Tecumseh, Michigan. Back in about 2001. It's this kit: I owned a '76 black 'Doba, and this is as close as I could get, at the time.
