I'm gonna give this one a try: An old, original kit. Looks to be all there. It's a street version of the 'Hemi Under Glass', I think. It will have street tires, and mufflers, so I guess it would be barely streetable!

Yep another kit I'd love to have just out of my price range. Will be following.

Here's what was in yonder box: Those two piece tires down left won't be used. The four above them might be considered.

I started with the boiler: I drilled a spot for the distributor on the front of the engine block. The sheet calls for it to be put in the back of the engine, which is wrong for a HEMI. Also drilled the valve covers and placed the plug wire boots in.

Also drilled the valve covers and placed the plug wire boots in. that's cause they like to use the 392 block from the old funny cars in all their kits back then. the distributor would then be in the back. I would do the same thing and make it a 426 too. I had heard that the hemi under glass kit shows a 66 cuda on the boxart, but was actually a 69 cuda in the box. that has kept me from getting one. can anyone confirm this?

I just opened my kit. It is definitely NOT a '69. Now, run out and buy yourself one. LOL!

That wasn't a distributor, it is a magneto and the older supercharged or injected 392 Hemis used them in the back of the engine.

I have this adhesive aluminum tape: I put it on the interior tub: I painted the floor semi gloss black. The black outline on the dashboard is the gauge panel: I removed it with the Dremel tool. A street car needs more gauges than just two. I wrapped the dashboard with the aluminum tape: A new instrument panel was cust from styrene strip: The gauge cluster and bezel on the right will be used: The panel is painted semi gloss black: Here's the panel: Panel is in place: I painted the top of the dashboard black. i drilled the holes out in the steering wheel spokes: Dashboard is complete: The spokes were touched up with the Molotow pen, and the column is painted black.

These parts took a swim in the "Chrome-Away": They became un-chromed in a short while.
