OK. I give up. Somewhere on the forum somebody posted a photo of a white Superbird that had a white top. Then somebody else commented that he'd never seen a white vinyl top on a Superbird. I can't seem to find that thread now. I was reading some other info on Superbirds and just happened to notice the first car in this photo. I don't recall seeing very many with white vinyl tops, but have now seen two in short order.  |

It either slipped thru at the factory, as they were all supposed to have black tops, or it was a new top applied later. It does look good on the Petty Blue 'bird.

Yep they never made a factory white top car. I'm sure that was replaced with a white one.  But made this one years ago. Not knowing it's was all wrong. Live and learn lol |
