Oh did you make that outside mirror? The kit I got only has wrong square ones. I don't remember which kit I swiped the mirror from.
Probably a Chevy kit!
Chrysler had very unique mirrors in the late 50s and early '60s.
Not easy to replicate.
The closest you will find for this era will be the AMT 1957 Chrysler 300 kit.
I have attempted to replicate early Mopar mirrors with some success, but it sure would be nice if someone would do some resin ones.
Are you listening Joseph Osborn?

Your car is pretty much what I plan but with all leather white interior and a hard top. And since the dash, rug and seat backs will be turquoise I'm going with a turquoise package tray. Thanks for the information. I also found this web site called Imperialclub. Org. It has lots of great information. Is this what you found? Yeah that's the place.

I'm going to try to make a correct mirror. I can't have those Ford looking ones on my Mopar.

I am a member of that online club. That's the one I sent the question to about the package shelf.

They were included with every AMT annual kit, regardless of make, all the way up until probably 1963 or '64.
I have used the bases from them on occasion and replaced the square head with a round one.
Saves from having to make the base as well.

According to the answers I got from the Imperial Owners Club, the package shelf should be the same color as the dash pad, and carpet.

If you can send me one of those mirrors I can cast them! We are doing a set of vintage mirrors now.

Looking at my stuff I found that the 58 Plymouth kit has dual mirrors so I'll just us one on the Imperial. And leave the 58 with the driver side only. But that's another project. Lol
