On my next project I'm planning a 59 Imperial turquoise with white interior. But I'm having a hard time finding what color the rear package tray area is. Does anybody give me some input?

My educated guess would be that the rear package shelf would be black.
Under normal circumstances, a white '59 Imperial interior would have had a black dash and steering wheel, carpet and rear package shelf.
Upholstery, ie, seats and door panels, would have been white.
I did mine in turquoise with a white and turquoise interior.
Probably not 100% accurate, especially the 2-toned seats, but it looks pretty "fifties" to me.

Your car is pretty much what I plan but with all leather white interior and a hard top. And since the dash, rug and seat backs will be turquoise I'm going with a turquoise package tray. Thanks for the information. I also found this web site called Imperialclub. Org. It has lots of great information.
