Well it is finally finished! I kept losing interest in building this due to a lot of parts scrounging and spring / summer outdoor activities.I think I will build something out of the box next! Anyway the chassis, engine compartment and driveline are from the AMT Yankee Challenger kit. Wheels, tires and air cleaner are from the parts box. The hood is a resin part that I bought back in the 90's. It fits okay. Front bumper is from the AMT kit as well. I was able to remove some green paint and giue from the glass as well as restoring the taillights. They had glue all over them. I removed the glue and scribed in the texture then coated them with a few coats of Tamiya clear red.I cut out the molded on exhaust tips from the rear valance panel, as the AMT kit has the exhaust tips as part of the exhaust.
