sweet Wayne!! one of my favorite FC's. did you alter where the body sits on this? it seems all these Revell FC's sat really high on the frame. yours is sitting like it should.

sweet Wayne!! one of my favorite FC's. did you alter where the body sits on this? it seems all these Revell FC's sat really high on the frame. yours is sitting like it should. Yeah, I do a bunch of adjustments to the Revell kits to make them sit better. I cut and raise the rear end housing mounting brackets on the chassis to get the rear sitting lower. Section the body mount brace at the rear of the body to get the body sitting lower over the chassis. Once these are done then you have to notch the interior tin and front body brace so the chassis will sit lower as well.

nice work. I figured it was a lot more than just cutting the tin. you would have the engine sitting too high if you did that. moving the suspension up was a good idea. this is a real nice build. been a McEwen fan for a long time. thanks for the reply.

Don't need to add a bunch of engine detail to have a nice model. Thats how I get my bodies sitting nice as well.
